20th Century Royal Worcester Figures
Royal Worcester figures and animal models designed in the early years of the twentieth century seem to us to be a neglected area with collectors.  The work of Frederick Gertner (1886-1960) who joined the factory in 1915, is recorded but not in any great detail.  We are pleased to offer some items of his work for sale and present them below. 
An early Royal Worcester model of King Charles I, dressed for battle, standing on a plain grey ground base, 25cm high. Designed by Frederick Gertner 1916.  This example dates from 1916. Stock No. SA0952             Price £420
